Summer Robinson, a small town girl with a loving family and boyfriend, gets kidnapped one summer night by deranged Collin Brown. This causes the community to be devastated because nothing this tragic ever happens in Long Thorpe. After months of being held in Collin's cellar, the police began to lose hope in finding summer, but that only gives her boyfriend even more determination to not give up and rescue her.
